This role involves meeting with group coordinators and hosts prior to functions to ensure all arrangements are satisfactory. The Concierge will analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information, determine setup needs, timelines, and specific guest requirements, including buffets and action stations. The position requires responding to and fulfilling special banquet event arrangements and following up to ensure compliance. Additionally, the role mandates adherence to all company safety and security policies, reporting accidents, and completing safety training. Maintaining a clean and professional appearance, upholding confidentiality, and protecting company assets are crucial. The Concierge must welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address their needs, and express genuine appreciation. Effective communication, both verbal and written, is essential, as is developing and maintaining positive working relationships and supporting team goals. Ensuring quality expectations and standards are met, reading and verifying information in various formats, and visually inspecting equipment are also key duties. The role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. It also involves navigating narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, and using stairs or service ramps. Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, is necessary. The Concierge will perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
