About The Position

Banquet Set-Up Associates prepare and maintain banquet spaces to support successful events and create positive guest experiences. The work takes place in a fast-paced environment and calls for attention to detail, flexibility, and a commitment to service and teamwork. Prior experience is not required. Associates set up and break down event spaces according to Banquet Event Orders, transport and arrange event furnishings and equipment, maintain public spaces during events, keep supplies available, and report equipment maintenance needs.

Requirements

• Full mobility and the ability to perform continuous movement.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility with scheduling to align with hotel event needs.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down event spaces according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
• Safely transport tables, chairs, staging areas, dance floors, and partitions.
• Maintain public spaces during events to ensure a consistently clean presentation.
• Ensure supplies are available and equipment is properly set up and functioning.
• Track event supplies and equipment, store furnishings carefully when not in use, and promptly report repair or maintenance needs.
