About The Position

The Banquet Server helps create memorable guest experiences at receptions, meetings, trainings, reunions, and other special events. The role involves event setup and service, including arranging tables and place settings, serving food and beverages, answering menu and dietary questions, and maintaining clean tables throughout meals. Servers work collaboratively with colleagues and learn buffet, plated, and reception-style service. The position is on call and pays $8 per hour plus gratuity.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior serving or hospitality experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service to all customers.
• Arrange place settings, tables, chairs, and linens according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
• Carry food trays from staging areas and serve water and wine during multi-course meals and buffet service.
• Communicate with guests about menu questions and special dietary needs.
• Set up and maintain clean tables between courses.
• Assist fellow servers during peak periods to fulfill guest requests.
• Learn and practice buffet, plated, and reception-style meal service to brand and company standards; training is provided.
• Perform side work to prepare for upcoming events.
