On-Call Banquet Server

About The Position

As a Banquet Server at The Club at Bella Collina, you will help deliver exceptional service during private events, weddings, corporate functions, and club-hosted banquets. You will provide refined, attentive service while maintaining the club’s standards. The role calls for professionalism, attention to detail, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. The position includes preparing banquet rooms, serving plated meals or overseeing buffet stations, coordinating with kitchen and bar staff, responding to guest requests, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, and helping with post-event breakdown and cleanup. Servers are expected to provide exemplary service in a private club environment and maintain a polished, professional appearance.

Requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods.
Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Previous banquet or fine dining serving experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and serve guests courteously and professionally during banquet functions.
Set up banquet rooms according to event orders and club standards, including tables, linens, glassware, and silverware.
Serve plated meals efficiently or oversee buffet stations while maintaining quality and presentation standards.
Communicate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
Clear tables, reset them as needed, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.
Follow health and safety regulations, including food-handling and sanitation requirements.
Assist with post-event breakdown and cleanup.
Provide exemplary service that reflects the private club environment.
Maintain a polished and professional appearance.
