About The Position

Graduate by Hilton Bloomington is seeking a part-time Banquet Server to join its Food & Beverage team and support banquet and catering operations while delivering a consistent, welcoming guest experience. The role includes preparing event spaces, serving guests, maintaining event equipment and supplies, and assisting with café operations as a barista when necessary. Compensation is $16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Follow direction from the Food & Beverage Manager to support smooth event execution.
• Interpret Banquet Event Order (BEO) documents and carry out event setup and service according to the details provided.
• Prepare banquet rooms for events, including setting tables, linens, dishes, glassware, and silverware.
• Bus and set tables, including food, beverages, and condiments as needed.
• Serve food and beverages to guests during events in accordance with service standards.
• Provide attentive, professional guest service and promptly address guests’ needs.
• Assist with cleaning and organizing event spaces after events.
• Monitor and restock supplies as needed throughout service.
• Maintain cleanliness and operational standards for banquet equipment.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Contribute ideas and effort to improve event setup, service flow, and guest satisfaction.
• Assist Poindexter Coffee as a barista when necessary.
• Replenish coffee beans, supplies, and pastries to maintain inventory.
• Keep coffee equipment clean and in working order by following instructions and performing routine maintenance.
• Support café operations by maintaining the organization, cleanliness, and overall appearance of the bar.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
