We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Banquet Manager to lead our banquet team our team as a key manager at Bridgewater Banquet & Conference Center, located at 10561 Sawmill Parkway, Powell. Requirements
- Proven work experience of 3+ years in banquet or catering management
- Knowledge of various types of banquet setups and service styles
- Outstanding leadership, organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills to effectively deal with clients and staff
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the banquet staff
- Ensure adherence to procedures, room set-ups, equipment, and supplies
- Communicate with clients to identify their needs and ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage event logistics including menu selections, seating arrangements, and decor
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and quality service
- Resolve any issues or complaints quickly and professionally
- Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event evaluations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Perform administrative tasks such as event reports and staff schedules
- Provide excellent customer service to guests and uphold the venue’s reputation
