About The Position

At Kolter Hospitality, the Banquet Houseperson delivers service excellence to the Banquets team and guests, with a commitment to guest satisfaction and an exceptional experience. The position is responsible for setting up, cleaning, and maintaining banquet equipment and function rooms.

The role involves reviewing Banquet Event Orders and completing setups accordingly, then breaking down banquet spaces after events. The Houseperson checks equipment and electrical hookups, handles and stores equipment safely, keeps function-room and storage areas clean and organized, reports items needing repair, and follows safety procedures.

The position requires a positive, helpful approach in a fast-paced environment, effective problem-solving, personalized guest service, and a commitment to the company’s success and growth. Candidates should be eager to develop within the company. Experience and education are not required. Applicants must complete a pre-employment drug test and background check. Requirements

• Able to work most weekends and holidays.
• Report to work on time and in proper uniform.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight, with a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Pre-employment drug test and background check required.
