About The Position

OTO Development is hiring a Banquet Houseperson to help maintain clean, organized, and refreshed banquet and pre-function areas at a hotel property. The role supports banquet events by removing trash, maintaining supplies and storage areas, assisting with post-event breakdown, and helping facility maintenance personnel as needed. The position requires safe work practices, a professional appearance, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods. Travel outside the property and surrounding areas is little to none.

Requirements

Ability to clean and perform housekeeping duties in a lodging facility.

Ability to deliver a clean, organized, and refreshed hotel banquet area.
Comfort standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Work safely while wearing the provided brand-standard uniform, identification, recommended footwear, and protective equipment such as gloves.
Collect and remove trash as needed during banquet events.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout banquet function spaces, pre-function spaces, and storage areas, including carpets, walls, walks, windows, and heating and air conditioning units.
Keep the banquet storeroom neat and organized and stocked with supplies needed for meetings or food service functions.
Help break down event spaces after functions and store equipment and supplies properly.
Assist facility maintenance personnel as needed.
Maintain a professional appearance, including a pressed uniform, employee identification, safety footwear, and protective equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
