About The Position

The Banquet Houseperson supports Prairie Meadows’ events by setting up and tearing down event spaces and preparing furniture and equipment according to banquet event instructions. The role involves reviewing upcoming events, understanding written instructions and setup diagrams, and ensuring required items are ready. Weekend, holiday, and varied hours may apply.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous banquet setup experience preferred.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and read and understand event setup diagrams.
• Customer service skills for internal and external guests.
• Ability to tolerate standing, walking, and moving furniture for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and push or pull a cart weighing up to 150 pounds.
• Ability to stoop, bend, reach, twist, grip objects, kneel, crawl, and differentiate colors.
• Weekend, holiday, and varied hours may apply.
