About The Position
Kahler Hospitality Group is hiring an experienced and talented Banquet Houseperson to join its events team. This second-shift role supports hotel events by setting up and breaking down event spaces, attending to guest needs, maintaining clean public spaces, ensuring supplies and equipment are ready and functioning, and tracking and storing event furnishings and equipment. The role requires full mobility, continuous movement, attention to detail, teamwork, flexibility with hours based on hotel events, and occasional heavy lifting.
Requirements
- Requires full mobility and continuous movement.
- Able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently, such as when moving furniture, equipment, and staging.
- Attention to detail.
- Team player.
- Willingness to be flexible with hours to accommodate hotel events.
- High school education or equivalent is preferred.
- Must observe and adhere to safety and security procedures.

Responsibilities
- Set up and break down event spaces according to the Banquet Event Order.
- Attend to guest needs.
- Maintain a consistently clean presentation in public spaces throughout events.
- Ensure supplies are available according to the Banquet Event Order and that equipment is properly set up and functioning.
- Track event supplies and equipment, store furnishings carefully when not in use, and promptly report repair and maintenance needs.
