About The Position

The Banquet Houseperson works alongside the banquet team to prepare event spaces and support successful functions at Eden Roc Miami Beach. The role involves setting up and breaking down event spaces, arranging furniture and tables, and preparing rooms according to event specifications. The Houseperson also delivers equipment and supplies to banquet servers, maintains clean and organized banquet areas, collaborates with the team to provide seamless service, anticipates guest needs, and follows safety and sanitation standards. The position requires enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork and excellent guest service.

Requirements

Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and furniture.
Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

Set up and break down event spaces to prepare them for functions.
Arrange furniture and tables and prepare rooms according to event specifications.
Deliver equipment, supplies, and other items to banquet servers in a timely and efficient manner.
Maintain clean and organized banquet areas.
Collaborate with the banquet team to ensure seamless service and exceed guest expectations.
Anticipate guest needs and provide assistance with a positive attitude.
Follow safety and sanitation standards to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
