About The Position

The Set Up - Banquet role supports banquet operations by preparing and maintaining event spaces, moving equipment and furnishings, and keeping work areas clean. The position also helps uphold a service culture focused on superior service for internal and external guests, follows applicable regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures, and maintains knowledge of promotions and events. Duties and responsibilities may change at any time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a service culture that ensures team members deliver superior internal and external guest service.
• Set up and tear down banquet rooms as directed.
• Transport portable bars, keg boxes, stages, dance floors, tables, and chairs from storage to banquet rooms.
• Empty trash cans and transport trash to the dumpster; replace can liners.
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop every shift or as needed.
• Ensure the department adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of promotions and events.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
