About The Position

Greet guests and set up and tear down banquet rooms using chairs, tables, and equipment for guest functions. Help maintain an efficient, clean, profitable, and professional banquet facility by providing quality service, hospitality, and function-room standards. The role includes arranging furniture and event supplies, preparing rooms for service, cleaning and organizing banquet and storage areas, and assisting with event breakdown. Work with event staff and servers to ensure setups are complete and ready for service. The company conducts post-offer employment verifications, motor vehicle checks, and criminal background checks. Requirements

Physical stamina to move heavy equipment and furniture.
Ability to read and follow event instructions and floor plans accurately.
Attention to detail to ensure event spaces meet specifications.
Teamwork skills to collaborate with other staff members.
Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Arrange tables, chairs, stages, and other furniture.
Set up and place audio-visual equipment, linens, centerpieces, and other supplies.
Perform final room cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and wiping surfaces such as windows and walls.
Assist with event breakdown, including moving and storing equipment and furniture in designated locations.
Keep banquet areas, public spaces, and storage areas clean and organized.
Work with event staff and servers to ensure the setup is complete and ready for service.
Greet guests and help set up and tear down banquet rooms for guest functions.
Help maintain a professional banquet facility through quality service, hospitality, and adherence to function-room standards.
