About The Position

Austin Country Club in Austin, TX is looking to hire a full-time Banquet Houseman to provide quality customer service and cleaning duties for our banquets. This entry-level position in hospitality earns a competitive wage of $16/hour, plus a service charge. With the service charge, our Banquet Houseman typically makes $16 - $25/hour. As a Banquet Houseman, you are responsible for upholding the highest level of customer service with our guests during banquet events. You assist with all aspects of setup for banquet events, which includes arranging tables, chairs, and linens. In addition, you help out with our food and beverage service and ensure that the service floor is always operating smoothly. When you aren't attending to guests, you perform a variety of cleaning duties, which includes maintaining the back of house and front of house for our events. You seek counsel from management when needed and are always eager to accomplish any tasks that come your way.
