About The Position

The Banquet Captain oversees food and beverage service at banquet functions and helps deliver memorable guest experiences. The role includes supervising service, monitoring guest satisfaction, helping plan and execute events, coordinating with the banquet team, processing banquet checks, and maintaining compliance with applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Bring an upbeat, friendly attitude to guest interactions and proactively seek ways to make each guest’s experience special.
• Supervise food and beverage service and monitor guest satisfaction during banquet events, promptly addressing issues with product or service quality.
• Assist with planning, organizing, and executing banquet functions, including breakfasts, coffee breaks, luncheons, dinners, cocktail receptions, and galas.
• Lead and/or participate in department meetings to help ensure the team is aligned and prepared for banquet operations.
• Accurately process banquet checks and ensure smooth payment transactions.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations.
