About The Position

The Madison Concourse Hotel & Governor’s Club is seeking a professional bartender to prepare drinks and provide exceptional customer service at weddings, banquets, and corporate events. This is a part-time role with evening availability and weekend work required; shifts start between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Compensation is base pay plus tips, averaging $18–$25 per hour. Requirements

Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
Positive, outgoing attitude and a passion for exceptional customer service.

Nice To Haves

Previous bartending experience, especially in a banquet or event setting.
Familiarity with alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes and preparation methods, glassware, equipment, and service.

Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of beverages, including classic cocktails and signature drinks.
Provide welcoming, attentive customer service to guests.
Keep the bar clean, tidy, and well stocked, and comply with health and safety regulations.
Accurately and responsibly handle cash and credit card transactions.
Set up the bar before events and assist with closing and tear-down duties afterward.
