Banquet Bartender | Part Time
About The Position
The Madison Concourse Hotel & Governor’s Club is seeking a professional bartender to prepare drinks and provide exceptional customer service at weddings, banquets, and corporate events. This is a part-time position with evening availability and weekend work required, starting between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Compensation is base wage plus tips, averaging $18–$25 per hour. The role involves creating beverages, engaging with guests, keeping the bar clean and stocked, handling transactions, and assisting with event setup and closing. Previous bartending experience is preferred, particularly in a banquet or event setting. Applicants must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and background check. The Madison Concourse Hotel is a drug-free workplace.

Nice To Haves
- Previous bartending experience, especially in a banquet or event setting.
- Familiarity with alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes and preparation methods, glassware, equipment, and service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of beverages, including classic cocktails and signature drinks.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure guests feel welcome and cared for.
- Keep the bar clean, tidy, well stocked, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Accurately and responsibly handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Help set up the bar before events and complete closing duties afterward.
