About The Position

The Banquet Bartender works in the banquet operation at Hilton Americas-Houston, serving beverages at events and helping create memorable guest experiences. The role includes mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks to recipe standards; maintaining bar supplies and product quality; processing guest payments; and supporting a safe, compliant service environment. The position is described as on-call.

Responsibilities

• Bring an upbeat, friendly attitude to guest interactions and proactively seek ways to make guests’ experiences special.
• Mix, garnish, and serve beverages according to recipe standards, ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction.
• Stock and organize bar supplies, including beverages, glassware, and perishables.
• Use the point-of-sale system to process cash, credit and debit cards, gift certificates, and vouchers accurately.
• Manage inventory and ensure the freshness and quality of beverage-related items.
• Address guest concerns professionally and manage situations involving intoxicated guests with care and respect to help ensure a safe environment.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
