About The Position

The Banquet Barback supports banquet bar service at Hilton Americas-Houston, helping prepare bar areas and deliver memorable hospitality experiences at events such as weddings, galas, conventions, and other gatherings. The role involves preparing garnishes and juices, keeping bar supplies stocked, handling beer kegs and taps, assisting with inventory, and maintaining clean bar and storage areas while following applicable health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.

Responsibilities

• Cut, slice, and peel garnishes and fruits; mix juices; and place prepared supplies in designated containers.
• Work with the bartender to keep the bar stocked with glassware, ice, produce, condiments, and paper products.
• Transport, replace, and maintain beer kegs and taps to support uninterrupted service.
• Retrieve storeroom orders, visually check stock, reconcile items with written requisitions, and re-check deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar, beer lockers, refrigerators, and storage areas.
• Follow health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
