About The Position

Four Seasons Resort O’ahu at Ko Olina is seeking an on-call Banquet Bartender with a passion for excellence and the spirit of aloha. Reporting to the Director of Banquets, the Banquet Bartender serves guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of wine, spirits, mixed drinks, and their preparation methods. The role involves preparing and serving beverages to Four Seasons standards, taking and confirming guest orders, offering knowledgeable descriptions, anticipating guest needs, addressing concerns, and accurately processing and settling payments. This position is based at a luxury beachfront resort on Oahu’s western coast. Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English, have at least two years of experience in a similar position in a luxury environment, and have communication and computer skills. Legal authorization to work in the United States is required. Pay is $33.82 per hour. Requirements

Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
At least 2 years of previous experience in a similar position in a luxury environment.
Experience in communication and computer skills.
Service passion.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Legal work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu, using proper pouring, mixing, and blending techniques according to established recipes and Four Seasons standards.
Confirm guest orders, including special needs or requests, from the lounge server using the hotel's point-of-sale system; check completed orders against the original order.
Take and serve orders from guests seated at the bar, describing items’ origin, taste, and preparation methods.
Maintain working knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, ports, armagnacs, eau-de-vies, cognacs, and specialty drinks.
Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Accurately close guest checks, process cash and credit card payments, and settle voided checks or complimentary items properly.
