About The Position

The Banquet Bartender provides beverage service to guests in a timely manner to ensure a quality experience. The role includes taking beverage orders from guests and servers, preparing drinks correctly, and returning orders promptly. The bartender also sells cigarettes and various amenities and food, observes guests’ alcohol consumption, and enforces company policies and procedures regarding limitations. The position involves maintaining positive guest relations through helpful, interactive transactions, as well as stocking bar items, filling ice bins, emptying garbage, mopping floors, and cleaning bar mats and coolers. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of bar equipment, alcohol laws, and regulations.
• Ability to maintain a calm and pleasant attitude in high-stress situations.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid state gaming license.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, push, and twist intermittently.

Nice To Haves

• Prior bartending experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell cigarettes and various amenities and food to guests.
• Observe guest alcohol consumption and signs of possible intoxication; enforce company policies and procedures regarding limitations.
• Develop and maintain positive guest relations through helpful and interactive guest transactions.
• Stock bar items and fill ice bins.
• Empty garbage, mop floors, and clean bar mats and coolers to keep them clean and orderly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
