About The Position

This role is responsible for completing quality reviews and mailing of MICR and TRA correspondence, providing phone support for internal calls, and assisting with moderate training within the department. The associate will process adjustments between banks via appropriate online systems and resolve routine adjustment-related problems independently. They will also escalate more complex problems to management, understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls, and identify risk-related issues needing escalation. The position also involves promoting an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand, maintaining M&T internal control standards, and completing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associates’ degree, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 2 years’ higher education and/or work experience
• Proven data entry skills
• Proven personal computer skills

Nice To Haves

• Some post-high school education
• Minimum of 3 years’ banking experience within an operations unit or the department
• Reconciliation skills

Responsibilities
