About The Position

The Banking Center Market President oversees lending activities for a geographic region or designated market niche. The role develops and maintains customer relationships, manages loan activity within established policies and limits, and oversees marketing, sales, and customer service strategies to build and retain loans and deposits. The position requires work on physical bank premises and travel to various locations as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational or work experience.
• At least 8 years of commercial lending experience.
• Management experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Basic keyboarding and calculator skills.
• Ability to carry out written instructions.
• Ability to travel to various locations to perform work or attend meetings as required.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds in an office setting may be required.

Nice To Haves

• Fluency in English and Spanish is encouraged, but bilingual ability is not a stated requirement.

Responsibilities

• Call on potential and existing customers to develop new business and increase or retain existing business.
• Develop, analyze, and approve loans within lending limits; recommend loans exceeding those limits in accordance with loan policies and underwriting guidelines.
• Oversee the coordination and efficient implementation of marketing, sales, and customer service strategies to build and retain loans and deposits.
• Monitor delinquency, loss, and risk-rating accuracy across assigned business units.
• Assist relationship managers with structuring, pricing, and documentation of larger commercial loan transactions.
• Maintain prescribed security controls to protect the facility against criminal and fraudulent operations and unnecessary risk or exposure.
