About The Position
This opening is with an Am Law 200 firm’s Financial Regulatory and Compliance practice in Reno, in northern Nevada. You’ll advise banks and non-bank financial institutions on compliance and regulatory issues while working with two partners. You’ll also review clients’ policies and frameworks and support regulatory investigations.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in financial services regulation and compliance
- Experience with payments, lending, debt collection, or mortgage servicing
- Am Law 200 or regional law firm experience and a very stable work history
- Strong legal writing and research skills with sound judgment
- Licensed to practice law in your home jurisdiction or eligible for admission
Responsibilities
- Advise banks and non-bank financial institutions on compliance and regulatory issues
- Review clients’ policies and frameworks
- Support regulatory investigations
- Client alerts and practice development
