About The Position
A national Am Law 200 firm is hiring a banking and financial services attorney for its Houston office, in the Gulf Coast region of Texas. You'll counsel banks and non-bank financial institutions on regulatory and compliance issues, including payments and mortgage servicing. You'll also support investigations and compliance reviews while working closely with two partners. The role offers a competitive compensation package, including bonus.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in banking and financial services regulatory work
- Experience advising on payments, lending, debt collection, or mortgage servicing
- Am Law 200 or regional law firm background with a very stable resume
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to work directly with regulators
- Licensed in your home jurisdiction or eligible for admission
