About The Position
An Am Law 200 firm is adding to its Financial Regulatory and Compliance practice in Detroit, in southeast Michigan. You'll be advising banks and non-bank financial institutions on regulatory questions and helping them improve their compliance and risk frameworks. You'll also support regulatory investigations and work directly with clients and two partners. This position includes a competitive compensation package, including bonus.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in financial services regulatory and compliance matters
- Background in payments, lending, debt collection, or mortgage servicing
- Experience at an Am Law 200 or regional law firm, with a very stable resume
- Excellent analytical and writing skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Licensed in your home jurisdiction or eligible for admission
Responsibilities
- Advising banks and non-bank financial institutions on regulatory questions
- Helping clients improve their compliance and risk frameworks
- Supporting regulatory investigations
- Working directly with clients and two partners
- Helping grow the practice through client alerts and presentations
