About The Position
An Am Law 200 firm is expanding its Financial Regulatory and Compliance practice in Austin, Texas. The attorney will partner with two senior attorneys to advise banks and non-bank lenders on regulatory and compliance questions, including payments, lending, debt collection, and mortgage servicing. The role also involves supporting regulatory investigations and assisting clients in strengthening their compliance programs. The firm offers a competitive compensation package, including a bonus. Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in banking and financial services regulatory and compliance work.
- Background advising banks and non-bank financial institutions on payments, lending, debt collection, and mortgage servicing.
- Strong Am Law 200 or regional law firm experience with a very stable work history.
- Sharp legal research and writing skills, with sound judgment and close attention to detail.
- Licensed to practice law in your home jurisdiction or eligible for admission.
