About The Position
This Am Law 200 firm is seeking a Banking and Financial Services Attorney for its growing Financial Regulatory and Compliance practice in northern Illinois. The role involves counseling banks and non-bank financial institutions on a wide range of regulatory matters, analyzing complex financial services laws, and assisting with due diligence on financial services M&A transactions. You will work closely with two partners. Requirements
- 5–7 years of banking and financial services regulatory and compliance experience.
- Focus on payments, lending, debt collection, or mortgage servicing.
- Am Law 200 or regional law firm experience with a very stable work history.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work directly with clients and regulators.
- Willingness to help build the practice through client alerts and conferences.
- Licensed to practice law in your home jurisdiction or eligible for admission.
