About The Position
Join an Am Law 200 firm's Financial Regulatory and Compliance practice in Beaumont, in southeast Texas. Your days will center on analyzing complex financial services statutes and regulations and advising banks and non-bank financial institutions on compliance matters. You'll also assist with regulatory due diligence on financial services transactions and work directly with two partners. This role comes with a competitive compensation package, including bonus.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in financial services regulatory and compliance matters
- Hands-on work in lending, payments, debt collection, or mortgage servicing regulation
- Experience at an Am Law 200 or regional law firm, with a very stable resume
- Ability to analyze complex regulatory issues and propose practical solutions
- Comfort working directly with clients and regulatory agencies
- Licensed to practice law in your home jurisdiction or eligible for admission
