About The Position

Heritage Bank is seeking a temporary bank teller for their Puyallup East Main Branch. This assignment is from June 2026 to November 2026. The teller will assist customers with their financial goals by providing excellent customer service and processing routine financial transactions. The typical full-time schedule is approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Flexibility is required to ensure adequate staffing for training or employee absences. This is a fully on-site position.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to provide an exceptional level of customer service.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic math skills with an understanding of debit and credit relationships and negotiable instruments.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to adapt to and learn new technologies quickly (i.e., financial services applications, DNA/Fiserv, cash recycler).

Responsibilities

  • Performs routine paying/receiving duties accurately and in accordance with assigned Authority Limits.
  • Provides operational and office support to the assigned branch, completing all assignments in a timely manner.
  • Maintains confidentiality when handling customer requests and transactions.
  • Complies with all policies, procedures, security, and regulatory requirements.
