About The Position

The Bank Teller is the first impression of the Pioneer culture and brand. The role embodies the IMAGINE culture by listening to, understanding, and anticipating clients’ needs and providing outstanding service in every interaction. The teller executes transactions professionally and accurately, supporting Pioneer’s vision of building partnerships with clients to meet their current needs and help them achieve their financial goals.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED required, or current high school student anticipating graduation.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and systems.

Nice To Haves

• At least six months of cash-handling experience and customer service experience preferred.
• At least six months of customer service experience recommending and referring products and services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides outstanding service and solutions to clients.
• Processes transactions accurately, including account deposits and withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing, and money order purchases.
• Acts as a first line of defense in detecting potentially fraudulent activities.
• Adheres to policies and procedures to maintain compliance standards.
• Builds relationships with clients by identifying financial needs and referring opportunities to branch colleagues.
