About The Position

Sandstone Care is a teen and young adult treatment program offering a full continuum of care. They deliver care through an innovative treatment approach which addresses not only mental health concerns, but also supports the entire ecosystem including treating the broader family system, providing academic & vocational support, and helping clients build new, healthy communities to support their longer term recovery. The Bank Reconciliation and Payment Poster position is responsible for daily reporting on all payments received and posting them correctly in the billing system, ensuring proper matching to claims, line item adjustments with appropriate reason/ANSI coding. This role also involves making corrections to posted payments, closing claims, obtaining missing EOB’s/ERA’s, and maintaining electronic linkage between the company, clearinghouse, and payors for EFT and ERAs. The individual will keep the IA team updated on progress towards quarterly goals and their supervisor apprised of matters regarding payments or EOBs/ERAs, while representing the company professionally and maintaining high integrity and honesty.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Coding certificate or associates degree in business administration or health care administration preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for daily reporting on all payments received
  • Responsible for all payments posted in billing system. Payments must be matched correctly to claims, adjusted by line item with appropriate reason/ANSI coding
  • Responsible for making corrections to payments posted
  • Responsible for closing claims
  • Responsible for obtaining any missing EOB’s/ERA’s
