About The Position

The Bakery Team Member supports The Fresh Market’s mission to make everyday eating extraordinary by providing excellent guest service and helping guests find meal solutions. Team members may work in any store department, including Deli, Meat & Seafood, Bakery, Grocery, Produce & Floral, and the Front-End. The role includes maintaining product and weekly-ad knowledge, merchandising and stocking products, assisting nearby guests, gathering shopping carts, and helping with general store housekeeping. Team members are expected to present themselves professionally and follow uniform standards.

Requirements

• Have a passion for providing extraordinary service.
• Be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests to understand their wants and needs and help them create meal solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items throughout the store.
• Work across departments to assist guests.
• Create a hospitable shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products and specialty items throughout the day.
• Assist nearby guests while merchandising and stocking.
• Gather shopping carts from the parking lot.
• Assist with general housekeeping duties throughout the store.
• Present oneself professionally, including adhering to uniform standards.
