About The Position

The Bakery Team Member supports The Fresh Market’s mission to make everyday eating extraordinary for guests. Team members may work in any store department, including Deli, Meat & Seafood, Bakery, Grocery, Produce & Floral, and Front-End. The role focuses on providing excellent guest service, helping guests find meal solutions, maintaining product knowledge, stocking and merchandising products, and assisting with store upkeep.

Requirements

• Passion for providing extraordinary service.
• At least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests to understand their wants and needs and help them create meal solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items throughout the store, and work across departments to assist guests.
• Create a hospitable shopping experience by merchandising and stocking products and specialty items throughout the day while assisting nearby guests.
• Gather shopping carts from the parking lot and assist with general housekeeping throughout the store.
• Present oneself professionally and adhere to uniform standards.
