About The Position

Provide excellent guest service through bakery department activities. Prepare bakery products for sale by baking, weighing, and pricing them; maintain product levels, quality, and freshness; and, when requested, perform cake-decorating duties. Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area, and sales area, and keep the supply area neat, clean, and tidy. Communicate guest requests to management and temperature breakdowns to a supervisor. Assist with product receiving and storage, perform front-end duties to maintain the “no noticeable wait” standard, announce specials and sale information over the PA system, and perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Effective communication, guest service, and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
