About The Position
Provide excellent guest service through bakery department activities. Prepare and maintain bakery products for sale, support guests and management, keep work and supply areas sanitary and organized, and assist with front-end duties and product receiving and storage.
Responsibilities
- Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
- Prepare products for sale by baking, weighing, and pricing them.
- Maintain product levels, quality, and freshness.
- Perform cake-decorating clerk functions when requested.
- Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area, and sales area.
- Communicate guest requests to management.
- Communicate temperature breakdowns to a supervisor.
- Keep the supply area neat, clean, and tidy at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Perform front-end duties to maintain the “no noticeable wait” standard.
- Announce specials and sale information on the PA system.
- Assist with product receiving and storage.
