About The Position

The County Market Bakery Clerk-Wrapper provides customer service and supports bakery operations, including product knowledge, rotation, merchandising, shrink control, quality assurance, inventory and stock levels, and cleanliness. The role packages and labels products to company standards, promotes sales and offers samples, performs basic baking duties, and cleans bakery areas and equipment. The position follows food safety, health code, company, store, and department procedures. Food Handler’s Certification is provided at store level when required by state law. The role has no supervisory responsibilities. Requirements may vary by store location, and management may change position requirements.

• Ability to perform the physical demands described in the posting, including standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, balancing, and lifting.
• No education or prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver superior guest service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Use bakery equipment properly and know the use and taste of products offered.
• Perform quality assurance checks and properly handle and rotate products.
• Support daily operations, including maintaining stock levels, inventory, and cleanliness.
• Promote sales and offer samples.
• Package and label products according to NFI standards.
• Perform basic baking duties.
• Clean floors, ovens, counters, and dishes.
• Follow company programs and procedures, Health Code guidelines, store and department policies, and safety procedures; serve as a safety role model.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
