About The Position
As a member of the bakery department, the Bakery Assistant works alongside a team responsible for producing and packaging breads, bagels, sweet treats, and other baked goods. The role supports a fast-moving, customer-focused bakery by preparing products, maintaining fresh and appealing displays, and helping keep inventory stocked.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
Responsibilities
- Bake, produce, and package baked goods.
- Provide excellent customer service and answer customer questions in a timely manner.
- Keep cases and aisles clean and well-stocked to ensure displays remain fresh and appealing.
- Follow proper stocking, rotating, and merchandising techniques to ensure product freshness.
- May help unload daily deliveries and stock cases, displays, and backroom coolers with new and existing inventory.
