Raley's is hiring a Bakery Assistant Team Lead to assist with the day-to-day operations of the Bakery Department and help lead the team. The role supports production and merchandising, provides customer service, and maintains food safety and sanitation standards. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Friendly and customer-service oriented.
Exceptional leadership skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-motivated, with high attention to detail, quality, and presentation.
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to read, understand, and follow verbal and written directions.
Ability to reliably meet the required work schedule and adhere to the company attendance policy.
Able to meet occasional physical demands for extended periods, including standing, sitting, lifting and stocking up to 50 lbs., pushing, keyboarding, telephone use, walking, and bending.

Responsibilities

Assist the Bakery Department Team Lead with department tasks.
Interact with customers daily and provide customer service.
Prepare food, including slicing meats, preparing sandwiches, and cooking fresh offerings.
Share food knowledge with customers and Team Members.
Lead, train, coach, and communicate with department Team Members.
Maintain food safety, safety, and sanitation.
Oversee day-to-day production, merchandising, and quality control of department offerings.
Drive department sales.
Manage department labor and productivity.
