Baker - Fourth Shift
About The Position
The Baker prepares rotors, stators, and other components for processing with resins. This role operates VPI systems to control resin levels and vacuum cycles, monitors oven times and temperatures for proper curing, and removes excess epoxy from components to ensure primer or paint adheres properly. Following Plant Manufacturing Procedures (PMP) and Operational Method Sheets (OMS) is crucial to operating VPI and oven equipment correctly. The role also performs daily and weekly TPM tasks accurately and consistently, along with other jobs designated by the supervisor in the same salary grade or below. The posting states that 6,000 hours of experience are required to become familiar with the process, equipment, and materials and attain proficiency requirements. The position is onsite in Mankato, Minnesota, working Friday through Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Starting pay is $25.75 to $29.93 per hour, plus a 10% shift differential, paid biweekly. Applicants must be a sole U.S. citizen and have graduated from high school or a vocational program, or have an equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities
- Prepare rotors, stators, and other components for processing through resins.

- Clean excess epoxy from components to ensure proper primer or paint adhesion.
- Follow Plant Manufacturing Procedures (PMP) and Operational Method Sheets (OMS) when operating VPI and oven equipment.
- Perform daily and weekly TPM tasks accurately and consistently.
- Perform other jobs designated by the supervisor in the same salary grade or below.
