About The Position

Under the Bakery Manager’s supervision, the Baker prepares and bakes high-volume bakery products using standardized recipes and performs related preparation and sanitation duties as required. The role is in a fast-paced grocery store environment. The job requires the ability to work a variety of hours, including nights and weekends, and to perform heavy lifting. Physical requirements include lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling, along with visual and auditory requirements. A Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required for positions involving food preparation, handling, or serving. The hourly rate ranges from minimum wage (depending on location) up to $18.50.
