About The Position

The Full-Time Sales Associate assists the store management team with daily store operations, including customer service, sales, merchandising, and other assigned responsibilities. Work is expected to be professional, courteous, reliable, and results-oriented. The standard work week is a minimum of 35 hours and a maximum of 40 hours. The role requires open availability and flexibility to meet customer demand and business needs, and willingness to work in multiple stores in the assigned district.

Requirements

Previous retail or customer-service work experience is preferred but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Excellent command of English to communicate effectively with management, customers, and coworkers.
Demonstrated leadership and ability to work under minimum supervision, take charge of the store when necessary, and handle responsibility.
Open availability and flexibility to meet customer demand and business needs.
Basic fashion and style-trend knowledge and interest in working with customers in a retail setting.
Proven ability to build and work as part of a team, with an understanding of the needs of the street-lifestyle customer.
Willingness to work in multiple stores in the assigned district.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work extended hours during critical project phases and work flexibly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Build customer relationships by providing professional, courteous, attentive, honest, and responsive service; identify customer needs and provide knowledgeable product assistance.
Apply basic fashion and trend knowledge to recommend appropriate merchandise while maintaining company standards and building customer relationships.
Assist with shipments, merchandising, restocking, and pricing.
Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward the job and company.
Comply with and enforce company policies.
Participate in service training and product programs.
Assist the Store Manager with monitoring and identifying loss or inventory inconsistencies to help the store meet shrink goals at or below company plan.
Monitor and control operational compliance, safety, and business standards.
Support employee training in suggested selling and merchandising techniques.
Help minimize inventory shrinkage by protecting against shoplifting and internal theft, and follow loss-prevention policies and security procedures.
Follow point-of-sale procedures, balance money taken in during assigned shifts, and work with management to investigate discrepancies.
Keep management informed of important developments, potential problems, and other information needed for effective management.
Help maintain a neat and orderly sales environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
