About The Position

The 1099-Contract Investigator conducts federal background investigations on a contract basis in direct support of national security and suitability investigations. The investigator performs fieldwork, including interviews and retrieval of records, and prepares reports of investigations (ROIs) in compliance with applicable laws, federal standards, and federal agency regulations. The role accepts fieldwork assignments requiring travel throughout the assigned geographic area, with opportunities for temporary-duty assignments outside that area. The investigator meets deadlines assigned by ADC LTD NM, maintains and appropriately handles data and documents, and meets government and industry standards for quality, integrity, timeliness, and productivity.
