About the position
Inspire11 is seeking a talented Backend Developer to assist with building out client solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in building complex back-end systems using Java (or Scala/Kotlin/Python) and modern frameworks like Spring Boot. They should also have familiarity with AWS, REST APIs, and working in an Agile environment. The successful candidate will have a passion for continuous learning, be comfortable in fast-paced environments, and have a desire to contribute to the culture of modern technology development within the company.
Responsibilities
- Build out complex back-end systems using Java (or Scala/Kotlin/Python) and modern frameworks, such as Spring Boot
- Design, develop, implement and support complex critical applications
- Develop unit tests and perform testing; recommend solutions for complex issues
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of new and existing applications, systems and components
- Stay on top of the changing technology ecosystems
- Experience with GraphQL
- Familiarity with AWS and how applications are deployed
- Experience with REST APIs and making data available through microservices
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Contribute to raising the culture of modern technology development within the company
- Enjoy learning new technologies and passionate about continuous learning
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments, can wear many hats, and have a general fear of being bored
Requirements
- Skilled at the latest version of Java (or Scala/Kotlin) and up to date with modern Java features
- Familiarity using Spring Boot and building API's using elements of Spring
- Familiarity with AWS and how applications are deployed
- Experience with GraphQL
- Experience with REST APIs and making data available through microservices
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Willingness to contribute to raising the culture of modern technology development within the company
- Enjoyment of learning new technologies and passion for continuous learning
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and ability to wear many hats
- General fear of being bored
