About The Position

The Back Up Scan Coordinator maintains price integrity in an assigned Sprouts Farmers Market store. The role performs daily, weekly, and monthly price changes, including updating shelf tags and signs, promotional signage, and ensuring compliance with company and governmental requirements. The coordinator verifies weekly advertisement price changes, promotional pricing, and pricing signage across all departments, working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent, and 1–3 months of related experience and/or training, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to analyze total scanning programs and maintain necessary reports and schedules.
Ability to understand and effectively use billing and accounting principles and processes.
Excellent mathematical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Outgoing, friendly behavior, a positive attitude, and ability to interact with customers, employees, and vendors.
Ability to work varied hours and days as business dictates.
Ability to read price tags, create and post signs and price tags, staple, scan, use a computer to activate new pricing, and use a step ladder.
Good vision to read and set signs.
Ability to vertically and horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 17 pounds from 1 to 34 inches, up to 8 feet, for up to 1 hour.
Ability to walk up to 4 miles per 8-hour period.
Ability to perform repetitive crouching, kneeling, and squatting to access a point 6 inches from the ground for up to 50 hours.

Verify weekly ad price changes, promotional price accuracy, and pricing signage in all departments.
Maintain overall price integrity in the assigned store.
Maintain necessary reports and schedules and analyze scanning programs.
