About The Position

Jovie is seeking engaging, creative, and fun individuals to join their on-call team as a Back Up Nanny in Mill Creek, WA. This role offers a flexible schedule, with full-time positions available. You will provide in-home care for children ranging from infants to toddlers, with the highest demand for infants under two years old. Your responsibilities will include ensuring child safety and leading hands-on, age-appropriate activities based on your observations of the children's development. No household duties are required beyond cleaning up after your activities or meals with the child, and you will not be required to transport children.

Requirements

At least 18 years old
Experience working with children, paid or unpaid, infant experience mandatory
Reliable transportation
Willingness and ability to travel to various homes throughout the area
Available any 4 or more days for 6 - 8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm
Commitment to be communicative and responsive to the staffing supervisor
Must be able to lift 35 pounds safely
Must be able to get up from and down to the floor numerous times throughout the day
Will need to be able to react quickly to certain situations
May need to react to emergent situations in a calm, effective and safe manner
