About The Position

Major Food Group is seeking experienced and qualified Back Servers to join its team at Carbone Vino. Vino celebrates Italian artisanship and features a thousand-bottle wine cellar, handmade pastas, Sicilian pizzas, signature entrées, and fresh gelato served tableside. The Back Server supports restaurant service by preparing stations and tables, assisting with table turnover, maintaining clean service areas and equipment, and communicating with service personnel.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in high-volume and fine-dining restaurants is preferred but not required.
• Full-time availability with flexible hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for eight hours; bend, push, and pull; and lift 50 pounds.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily pre-meal tasting.
• Greet all guests in a friendly manner.
• Set up the station and tables before service.
• Assist with clearing and setting up tables during service.
• Ensure tableware is clean and in place.
• Complete side duties.
• Maintain the proper care and cleanliness of tableware, serving equipment, and service areas in the front and back of house.
• Maintain positive communication with service personnel.
