CHR is seeking a Bachelor's Level Intern for its Assertive Community Treatment Team in Enfield, Connecticut. The internship offers firsthand experience and training in clinical mental health and substance abuse evaluation and treatment, including assessment, independent living skills, outreach treatment services, and medication evaluation and monitoring. CHR's two fidelity-based Assertive Community Treatment Teams serve adults age 18 and older with serious and persistent mental illness, or a dual diagnosis of serious and persistent mental illness and a substance use disorder, who require a high level of services. Individuals served may also be involved with the criminal justice system, recently returning to the community from long-term care, or experiencing homelessness. The internship provides opportunities to collaborate with experienced staff, contribute to the community, earn school credit, and gain experience that may support a behavioral health career. Hours and schedule are to be determined. CHR is an equal opportunity employer and encourages all to apply.
