About The Position
The Bethlehem YMCA is seeking three Childwatch Babysitters. This position offers flexibility with an Early Wage Access (EWA) program, allowing employees to access a portion of their earned wages on demand. The role involves providing childcare services and requires candidates to be at least 16 years old with prior childcare experience. CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications are required within 30 days of hire, along with several mandatory trainings within 90 days of hire.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 16 or older (with valid NYS working papers for minors).
- Prior childcare or babysitting experience required.
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (completed within 30 days of hire).
- New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE (Active Shooter), and Blood-borne Pathogens trainings (completed within 90 days of hire).
Nice To Haves
- Babysitting Certification is preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to relate to diverse groups in the community.
