About The Position
Bethlehem YMCA is seeking three seasonal Zamboni Drivers to maintain the ice surface. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling available during the Fall, Winter, and early Spring seasons. Employees will have access to an Early Wage Access (EWA) program, allowing them to draw a portion of their earned wages on demand.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License
- Appropriate professional certifications
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (completed within 30 days of hire)
- New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE (Active Shooter), and Bloodborne Pathogens trainings (completed within 90 days of hire)
Nice To Haves
- BA/BS in Physical Ed, Recreation, Sports Mgt, Health Ed or a related field preferred or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in supervising a similar recreational program or working with the assigned population
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to relate to diverse groups in the community
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the Zamboni for ice resurfacing.
